A 44-year-old captain was arrested on November 15 by officers of the security office of the central port authority of Patras, in west Greece.
Officers of the security office of the central port authority of Patras arrested a 44-year-old ferry captain who operates on the Rio – Antirrio ferry line, during a “surprise check.”
According to exclusive information from pelop.gr, it was established that the captain, although he was on the ship’s bridge, had “ceded” his position to a retired sailor, as according to the same information it seems that he was “experiencing difficulties” with the maneuvers required by departure and arrival from the ferry piers.
Sources of pelop.gr reported that this unique collaboration had been going on for quite some time.
