UK´s port agency and marine services provider Inchcape Shipping Services has appointed Anna Evangelidis as its new Chief Operating Officer, which is effective from today.

The shipping executive will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence and delivery worldwide. She will also oversee the expansion of the company´s Global Managed HUB Solutions and, will be also in charge for overseeing IT and procurement functions.

Anna has in her professional luggage’s a wealth of experience, having previously worked at BP, Saipem and Lloyds Register, where she held various positions as a naval architect, pipeline engineer, procurement and other operational leadership roles.

Anna secured an honours degree in Ship Science from Southampton University. She is passionate about people and will be a fantastic addition to the Inchcape family and senior leadership team.
