MSC Cruises Becomes New Sleeve Partner of AC Milan

MSC Cruises has announced an epic partnership with one of the world’s greatest football clubs, Italy’s AC Milan.

The cruise line is joining AC Milan’s family of principal partners and will be present on the sleeves of the Rossoneri’s match kits.

Starting from the 2023/24 season, MSC Cruises will be the principal and official sleeve partner of the “Rossoneri”, who have won UEFA Champions League, the world’s most prestigious football club championship, seven times, as the leading Swiss-based shipping and logistics conglomerate reports.

The shipping company’s logo will be proudly displayed, as MSC Cruises says characteristically in its short statement, on the sleeves of the men’s first team, women’s first team, and Primavera sides, in Italian Championship, Italian Cup and Champions League matches.

According to MSC Cruises, this partnership brings together two important Italian institutions, which are recognised as global leaders in their respective sectors.

AC Milan and MSC Cruises will ignite a series of joint events and initiatives on land and at sea, involving Milan’s massive fan base of 500 million supporters worldwide.

Casper Stylsvig, AC Milan’s Chief Revenue Office, said: “We’re happy to welcome MSC Cruises back to the Rossoneri family as a Principal Partner and Sleeve Partner of our Men’s and Women’s First Teams and our Primavera teams. The AC Milan shirt is a second skin, a global icon and a symbol of the passion that our over 500 million fans worldwide have. We’re convinced that, together, two Italian excellences in the world like AC Milan and MSC Cruises will be able to achieve the set goals and reach ambitious milestones.”

Leonardo Massa, Managing Director of MSC Cruises, added: “After 10 years since the last collaboration with AC Milan, we are ready to write a new chapter together. The partnership signed today fits perfectly on the path traced together in the past and which we have pursued over the years and today sees us side by side with companies that represent Italian excellence in the world as we do. The two companies share a long historical tradition and a common global vision, as well as ambitious goals to be achieved with tenacity, commitment and dedication.”

The Managing director of MSC Cruises also added that “AC Milan is one of the most important clubs in the world and can boast a list of successes both in Italy and abroad. The history of Milan, with its international profile but at the same time linked to Italy and the city of Milan, perfectly matches with MSC Cruises. In fact, our company sails all over the world, but always maintains strong links with the ports and territories of reference. Furthermore, like Milan, MSC Cruises boasts many firsts and is preparing to experience a record-breaking 2023, with a significant increase of passengers, which is set to reach 4 million only in the Italian ports.”
