Swiss based Sallaum Lines has unveiled its strategic plan, announcing that it aims to double its fleet by 2027 with the addition of eight new vessels.

According to Sallaum Lines officials, this massive expansion plan underscores the Switzerland-based company’s aspirations to broaden its footprint and strengthen its capabilities.

These announcements were made on June 15 aboard the ship Blue Rhapsody, where Sallaum Lines welcomed distinguished guests and stakeholders to a ceremony for the presentation of the company’s new logo and refreshed vision. 

Sallaum Lines is an ocean transportation company that provides global RoRo cargo shipping services from the European Union and USA to North, West, and South Africa since 1991.

The company is ranked as the 10th largest vehicle carrier in the world with a lifetime number of over 3,000,000 Car Equivalent Units (CEU) shipped till 2021.

Sallaum Lines’ owned and chartered fleet of 9 vessels consists of modern Pure Car &Truck Carrier (PCTC) vessels designed to handle a variety of vehicles and high & heavy cargoes, and managing the distribution of cars, trucks, rolling projects and breakbulk to customers all over the world.

Sallaum Lines Chairman, Sami Sallaum, noted that the expansion plan is centered around a strengthened focus on customer-centricity, operational excellence and embracing technological innovations to bolster the company’s global reach and impact.
