Hamburg-based asset and investment manager MPC Capital is bundling its ship broking activities and merging Harper Petersen and Albis Shipping & Transport under one roof.

Effective July 1, MPC Capital will merge the ship broking activities of Harper Petersen and Albis Shipping and Transport GmbH & Co. KG.

Operating under the joint brands of Harper Petersen, covering containers and S&P, and Harper Petersen Albis covering tankers and bulkers, MPC Capital said in a social media post the merger will enhance its service offerings and global presence.

“With offices in Germany, Singapore, China, and the Netherlands, we are poised to better serve customers with diversified fleets and provide more comprehensive services,” MPC Capital stated in a release.

To remind, MPC Capital listed since 2000 was founded in 1994 as a subsidiary of the international MPC Group. MPC Group is now the primary shareholder of MPC Capital.
