As of the morning of August 12, Russia maintains in the Black Sea one Kalibr cruise missile carrier, with a total salvo capacity of up to four missiles, according to the Ukrainian Navy.
Meanwhile, as of 6:00 am, there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov, as reported by the Ukrainian Navy’s press service.
In the Mediterranean Sea, there are two Russian warships, including one Kalibr cruise missile carrier, with a total salvo of four missiles.
Additionally, the military reported on Monday that within the day, in Russia’s interests, ten vessels passed through the Kerch Strait toward the Black Sea, of which six moved toward the Bosphorus Strait. Eleven vessels passed through the Kerch Strait toward the Sea of Azov, of which four moved from the Bosphorus Strait.
Separately, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense said that on the night of August 9 near Chornomorske in the occupied Crimea, operators of the Defence intelligence of Ukraine special unit “Group 13” used a Magura V5 marine attack drone to destroy another Russian vessel – a speed boat of the project KS 701 of the Tunets type.
In response to these attacks, Russia’s Baltic fleet’s helicopters – at an aviation training ground in Kaliningrad region and in the waters of the Baltic Sea, are using aviation strike assets against ground and sea targets, as it is reported by Russian Defence Ministry.
More than 10 crews trained using aviation strike assets against ground and sea targets at ranges from 500 metres to three kilometres from minimum and medium altitudes.
