Atlantica Shipping sells ‘good investment’ supramax bulker

Oslo-based shipowner and manager Atlantica Shipping reported the delivery on August 15 of the supramax bulk carrier Rego to her new owners. The 2009-built TESS 58 Rego has been with the company since 2017 and has traded in the A.M Aquarius pool.

The company emphasized that “she has been a very good investment for 7,5 years.”

Rego was under technical management by A.M Nomikos and, as Atlantica Shipping said, the vessel “has performed excellent during this period”.

The shipowner has also revealed that it took delivery of the 4 600 TEU container vessel Atlantica Power.

The vessel built in 2010 at Daewoo Shipbuilding, Korea, is on a time charter to CMA-CGM until July 2026.

“We thank our partners in the deal, A.M Nomikos and Clarksons Project Finance for their support,” Atlantica Shipping said in a short social media post.
