BTS Tankers has revealed the acquisition of two newbuildings from Fujian Southeast Shipbuilding Co. Ltd.
The vessels bought by the company are the BTS Eclipse and BTS Equinox. Both are approximately 18,500-dwt IMO II Singapore-flagged tankers, with Marine line tank coating.
“BTS Tankers is pleased to announce acquisition of two new vessels BTS Eclipse and BTS Equinox, new buildings from Fujian Southeast Shipbuilding Co. Ltd,” the company wrote in a social media post.
BTS Eclipse is a 18,500-dwt chemical oil tanker, double hull newbuilding delivered on March 17, 2026, from Fujian Southeast Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
The company said the BTS Eclipse departed from the Fujian Mawei shipyard in Fuzhou, China on March 17 on her maiden voyage to Singapore, under the command of Capt. Ari Giovanni.
The second acquired ship BTS Equinox will join the company’s fleet next month.
BTS Tankers is a regional tanker operator in the Southeast Asian petrochemical and intermediates shipping market. Based in Singapore, the company has a fleet of tankers in the 8-18,521 dwt size.
