The Norway-based oil-services investment company Akastor has announced the sale of an anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel.
Specifically, Akastor ASA’s subsidiary DDW Offshore AS has completed the sale of the AHTS vessel Skandi Atlantic for a purchase price of $22.75m.
The agreement was entered into on Saleform 2012 terms, suitably amended, and the transfer took place on Wednesday concurrently with charterer’s consent, which was a condition precedent for completion under the sales agreement.
Akastor states that $8m of the purchase price will be used to repay a proportional portion of DDW Offshore’s debt, and that the remaining debt with DDW Offshore will be $16m.
