Frontline plc has entered into an agreement to sell its oldest suezmax tanker built in 2011 for a net sales price of $36.4m.
In August 2025, the company entered into an agreement to sell its suezmax tanker, Frontline said, with the vessel expected to be delivered to the new owner during the third quarter of 2025.
After repayment of existing debt on the vessel, Frontline expects net cash proceeds of approximately $23.7m, and a gain of approximately $6.0m in the third quarter of 2025.
As of June 30, 2025, the company’s fleet consisted of 81 vessels owned by the company (41 VLCCs, 22 suezmax tankers, 18 LR2/aframax tankers), with an aggregate capacity of approximately 17.8 million Dwt.
As of June 30, 2025, in the company’s fleet were 45 scrubber-fitted vessels with a total average age of 7.1 years.
