India’s Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (G E Shipping) has contracted to offload its 2004 medium range product tanker, “Jag Pahel” of about 46,319 dwt on April 01, 2024 to an unaffiliated third party.
The country’s largest shipowner said it had contracted to sell the MR tanker Jag Pahel (built 2004) with a 27,627 GRT for an undisclosed price.
The vessel will be delivered to its new buyer by the first quarter of financial year 25 (Q1 FY25).
Including Jag Pahel, company’s current fleet stands at 42 vessels, comprising 28 tankers (6 crude carriers, 18 product tankers, 4 LPG carrier) and 14 dry bulk carriers (2 capesize, 8 kamsarmax, 4 supramax) aggregating 3.36 Mn dwt.
Additionally, the owner had contracted to buy two MR product tankers in February 2024 and March 2024, which are due for delivery in the first quarter of financial year 25 (Q1 FY25).
