The New Jersey (USA)-headquartered shipowner Safesea Group with a social media post on LinkedIn announced the company’s further fleet growth with the purchase of the Safesea Rama.
The newly acquired 2006-built container vessel has a carrying capacity of 1100 TEUs.
Safesea Group revealed that the Safesea Rama has been time-chartered to Tropical Shipping, USA (part of the Saltchuck family), and that she will operate between the USA and Caribbean ports.
Bravo Ship Management will be the technical manager for this vessel, as the shipowner mentions.
Safesea Group founded in 2006 by Dr. S. V. Anchan owns and operates a fleet of vessels providing sea transportation globally.
