Greek Navios Maritime Partners led-by Angeliki Frangou stays active with more additions to its fleet, as the owner took recently delivery of another boxship.

The newly built vessel Zim Seagull is Navios latest 5,300 teu containership from a series of newbuilds already delivered.

Navios Maritime Partners fleet database shows five more units already delivered this year.

According to its website, the Greek owner which counts 41 containerships has added five more boxships to its fleet portfolio except the ship Zim Seagull.

All the units Zim Eagle, Zim Condor, Zim Falcon, Zim Hawk, Zim Seagull, and Zim Pelican are 5,300 teu containerships and all were delivered to the owner in the year 2024.

More containerships are expected to be delivered between the years 2024-2026 ranging from 5,300 teu to 7,900 teu.

Few months ago, the company’s chief executive Angeliki Frangou disclosed the delivery of an aframax product tanker.

The newly built 115,651-dwt Nave Cosmos is an aframax/LR2 product tanker, scrubber-fitted and equipped with Framo pumps.

The Nave Cosmos has been designed with the latest environmentally friendly technology to optimize energy efficiency and safety, in line with the company’s decarbonization culture, as the Greek owner claims.

The owner also added to its fleet portfolio the second aframax/LR2 product tanker Nave Polaris from a total of 14 similar vessels under construction. The 115,699-dwt Nave Polaris is scrubber-fitted and equipped with Framo pumps.

The rest of the aframaxes/LR2 are scheduled to be delivered between 2024-2028.
