Med Marine, the Turkish shipbuilder specialized in building mainly tugboats and workboats at its Eregli Shipyard, has delivered a tug with 70 tons of Bollard Pull to the Italian based Scafi Società di Navigazione S.p.A.
Named as “GEA”, the 25m tug is a RAmparts 2500W series multi-purpose tug which is also equipped with an aft towing hook and is equipped to meet Class FIFI E SYSTEM -1 requirements.
Tug “GEA” will be deployed by Scafi group in the port of Rijeka in Croatia, to support the Scafi subsidiary Jadranski Pomorski Servis operations in ship handling, towing, pushing, mooring, firefighting facilities.
