Med Marine, the Turkish shipbuilder specialized in building mainly tugboats and workboats at its Eregli Shipyard, announces the launch -June 14- of its latest MED-A2800 series of tugboat.
This tugboat is built for Greek-based IGMAR, a member of Spanopolous Group who offers a full spectrum of marine services, such as harbour and ocean towage, port operation /handling, sea transportation, salvage & wreck removals, marine engineering & port construction, hydrographic services and environmental protection and offshore services in Greece, Mediterranean, Egypt and in the United Arab Emirates.
This Robert Allen designed RAstar 2800 series Terminal–Escort Tug is 28,40m long, 13,00m beam, a draft of 5,70m with a bollard pull capacity of 75 tons and also meet class FIFI-1 requirements.
