Dutch shortsea shipowner Pot Scheepvaart announced that it has signed a contract with local shipbuilder Royal Bodewes to build a 6.000-ton deadweight Ice Class 1A multipurpose vessel.

The construction will start in April/May this year, and the delivery is scheduled at the end of 1st quarter of 2025, as the shipowner reveals.

The vessel will be built by Royal Bodewes on their Shipyard in the Northern Netherlands.

The vessel will be designed, constructed, and built for carrying general cargoes, timber, paper, wood pulp and bulk cargoes such as coal, grain as well as dangerous goods.
