Norway’s Salt Ship Design AS is boosting its design portfolio with more orders. The latest order announced in its social media profile LinkedIn and in its official website involves four multipurpose platform supply vessels (MPSV’s).
The ship design company located in Stord, Norway, said on Wednesday that its clients have placed an order for four multipurpose platform supply vessels (MPSV’s) from PaxOcean’s shipyard in Zhoushan, China, with an option to purchase additional six vessels.
The new vessels will feature the latest advancements in offshore technology and are designed to accommodate future installation of a 100-ton active heave compensation (AHC) crane or a gangway system.
The key design specifications of the vessels include length overall 92.9 meters, breadth 20.3 meters, deck area 1,020 square meters, and personnel on board 60.
The company said it will deliver a comprehensive design package, including detail design, for the vessels.
