The Netherlands-headquartered towage company KOTUG International has welcomed to its worldwide fleet the newbuild tug SD DJOUDJ.
She is the second in a series of five RAstar 3200W ASD terminal support and escort tugs built by Turkish shipbuilder UZMAR Shipyard for KOTUG International.
The SD DJOUDJ has now departed the UZMAR Shipyard in Turkey and is on her maiden voyage to Senegal, where she will support and strengthen KOTUG’S towage operations across West Africa.
SD DJOUDJ has a length of 32 metres and a bollard pull of over 80 tonnes.
The new tugboat is designed by Robert Allan Ltd., and it is fully compliant with IMO Tier III standards, as KOTUG claims in its statement.
