The Belgium-based CMB.TECH NV has sold three VLCCs and four suezmaxes with gains expected to reach $358.8m.
The sales of two VLCCs, Ilma (2012-built, 314,000 dwt) and Ingrid (2012-built, 314,000 dwt) have generated a gain of around $98.2m in the second quarter of 2026, based on the net sales price and book values. The suezmax Sienna (2007-built, 150,205 dwt) was also sold. The sale generated a gain of $29.2m, with both vessels delivered to their new owners in the second quarter of 2026.
Two suezmaxes Brest (2023-built, 156,851 dwt) and Brugge (2023-built, 156,851 dwt) were also sold, generating a gain of approximately $100.2m in the third quarter of 2026, based on the net sale price and book values. The vessels will be delivered to their new owners in the third quarter of 2026.
The following vessels will be delivered to their new owners in the fourth quarter 2026: VLCC Donoussa (2016-built, 299,999 dwt). This sale will generate a gain of approximately $74.3m in the fourth quarter of 2026, based on the net sale price and book values. Furthermore, the suezmax Bristol (2024-built, 156,851 dwt) was sold, generating a gain of around $56.9m in the fourth quarter of 2026, based on the net sale price and book values.
The Belgian group reported profit for the second quarter of $364.4m, and EBITDA for the same period of $552.8m.

The company also signed an agreement with Fortescue for the charter of up to 12 ammonia-powered 210,000-dwt newcastlemax vessels.
Nine newbuildings were delivered in the second quarter and third quarter to date: Newcastlemaxes Mineral Latvija, Mineral Magyar, Mineral Eesti and Mineral Lietuva; VLCC Morini; Suezmaxes Cap Grace and Cap Joseph; CSOV Windcat Haarlem; and CTV FRS Windcat 65.
