Singapore’s Hafnia is expanding its MR tanker pool with two new Vietnamese pool partners. The large operator of product and chemical tankers Hafnia said it has added two new Vietnamese pool partners, PVTrans Oilfield Services (PVT.OFS) and Pacific Petroleum, in its medium-range (MR) tanker pool.
As it is reported, PVTrans Oilfield Services (PVT.OFS) and Pacific Petroleum will each bring a tanker vessel into the Hafnia MR pool later this month.

The company believes that this partnership will further strengthen the pool’s presence in the region and expand its collaboration, as Hafnia said, with key players in the tanker sector.
PVTrans Oilfield Services, based in Vung Tau, will join the pool with their vessel PVT Valencia, set to commence operations around October 20th in Egypt.

Pacific Petroleum, the second new partner, is set to enter the pool with their vessel Pacific Pride, which will begin operations in Rotterdam, also around October 20th.
“We look forward to their participation in the pool and the successful delivery of the PVT Valencia,” the company highlighted with a short statement.
“We look forward to our two new partners’ participation in the pool and the successful delivery of these two new vessels. Both PVT.OFS and Pacific Petroleum are expected to bring valuable contributions to the Hafnia Pool, and we look forward to supporting the success of the integration into our global pool operations and our ongoing collaboration,” it added.
