The New York Stock Exchange listed Safe Bulkers Inc., announces in their social media the delivery of a Japanese dry bulk kamsarmax class vessel.
Oshima Shipbuilding in Japan has yesterday delivered the Mv Efrossini of 82,000 DWT newbuilding under Cyprus flag, as Safe Bulkers reports.
The Mv Efrossini, a sister vessel to several Safe Bulkers newbuilds, has been designed to meet the Phase 3 requirements of Energy Efficiency Design Index and also comply with the NOx-Tier III regulations.
The company has after this new delivery a fleet portfolio of 47 vessels with 6 additional vessels remaining to be delivered under the current newbuilding programme.
