Icon of the Seas, which is being completed at the Turku shipyard, will set off on its maiden voyage exactly one year from now on January 27, 2024.
Icon’s home port will be located in Miami, from where it will cruise to the Caribbean Sea. During the seven-day cruises, Icon of the Seas will stop at places such as Cozumel in Mexico and the island of Roatan off the coast of Honduras.
When completed, Icon of the Seas will be Royal Caribbean’s first Icon-class ship and the first ship to use liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Royal Caribbean’s fleet.
Icon will include 8 distinct neighborhoods, which will offer various different activities and atmospheres whether you’re looking to have some fun or take a break and relax. Icon of the Seas will include 5 brand new neighborhoods never before seen on Royal Caribbean’s ships: AquaDome, Thrill Island, Chill Island, Surfside and The Hideaway.
