Germany’s EMS-Fehn-Group shipping company has appointed Agnieszka Acar as Managing Director of EMS Chartering. Acar previously held the position of General Manager at EMS Chartering.

“With her professional experience and her in-depth knowledge of all areas of shipping, she was our first choice for this position,” Dominic Sleur, COO of EMS-Fehn-Group, said about Acar.

Having started her professional career as apprentice at EMS Chartering in 2008, Acar stayed with the company as shipbroker specializing in project cargoes. She has been in charge of key accounts for a number of years and is especially versed in providing sophisticated transport solutions to major players in the wind industry, as the company claims in its announcement.

Established in 1984, EMS Chartering offers tailored shortsea and deepsea solutions for bulk, break bulk and project cargoes. EMS Chartering is the exclusive broker of EMS-Fehn-Group’s own fleet of general cargo vessels.

Headquartered in Germany, EMS-Fehn-Group consists of 18 companies all across Europe and offers a vast variety of worldwide logistics solutions. Apart from its own vessels, EMS-Fehn-Group operates its own fleet of heavy haulage trucks, port terminals and high-performance cranes.
