The market was today with another change of direction in some parts of the drybulk market. The capes had slight negative tendency and with the panamax again having a positive tendency today. The supramax and handysize continue with a fully stable tendency.
The capesizes had today little slower activity and it resulted in minor falling rates in most all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was quite good and the market reacted with slight increasing rates in almost all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had unchanged activity levels. The supramax tonnage had again unchanged stable rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was with fair activity, and resulted in mainly unchanged and stable rates in almost all areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with unchanged activity levels. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with unchanged rates. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with minor increasing rates today and the Mediterranean had stable rate levels today.
The tanker market was today with better level of activity. The crude oil tankers were with little better activity resulting in minor increasing rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was today with fine activity and it resulted in stable and unchanged rate levels from the various loading areas.
