The market today was again on the move in different directions in the dry bulk market. The capes had little slower activity, the panamax and supramax both with improved activity, handysize with unchanged activity.
The capesizes had little slower activity and therefore the result was with minor falling rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was better and the market reacted with minor increasing rates in almost all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market today had different activity levels. The supramax tonnage had little better activity and with marginal increasing rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was with unchanged activity, and resulted in stable rates in all areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with slower activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with minor falling levels. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with minor falling rates and the Mediterranean had also minor falling rate levels.
The tanker market was today again with a general good level of activity. The crude oil tankers had fine activity resulting in slight increasing rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was with unchanged okay activity and it resulted in marginal falling rate levels from the various loading areas.
