The market today was with a split of directions in the large and small parts of dry bulk market. The capes had much slower activity, the panamax had sliding activity, the supramax and handysize both with little better activity.

The capesizes had slowing activity and therefore the result was with real falling rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was little slower and the market reacted with very minor rates in almost all areas and directions.

For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market today had further improved activity levels for both sizes. The supramax tonnage had again little improved activity and with very minor increasing rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was also with little better activity, and resulted in very minor increasing rates in all areas and directions.

The European coaster market was today with little positive activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with stable rates. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with slight increasing rates and the Mediterranean had again minor increasing rate levels today.

The tanker market was today with further good level of activity. The crude oil tankers had again fine activity resulting in slight increasing rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was again with top activity and it resulted again in very good increasing rate levels from the various loading areas.
