The market was today again with new and different directions in parts of the drybulk market. The capes had slowing tendency today, the panamax had positive tendency, and with both the supramax and handysize had unchanged tendency.
The capesizes had little slowing activity and it resulted in fully balanced and unchanged rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was good and the market reacted with slight increasing rates in almost all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had unchanged activity levels. The supramax tonnage had stable rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was with fine activity, and resulted in mainly very minor increasing rates in all areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with unchanged activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were again with unchanged rates. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with minor increasing rates today and the Mediterranean had also minor increasing rate levels today.
The tanker market was today with fair level of activity. The crude oil tankers were with unchanged activity resulting in same rates as yesterday in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was today also with unchanged slower activity and it resulted in stable rate levels from the various loading areas.
