A new Athens-based LPG carrier player has emerged in the shipping market with fleet-expansion plans.
As the LPG sector continues to evolve, Adenac Ship Management Ltd, operating as the commercial pillar of Vitamodo Scheepsbeheer BV (Netherlands), has announced the acquisition of two 2009 Japanese built high-spec 3,500 cbm pressurized LPG carriers.
Specializing in the ownership, employment and long-term operation of LPG carriers and container vessels, the company bought the Japanese LPG carrier pair making another significant step in its continued expansion.
According to Adenac Ship Management, both vessels enter the company’s fleet with two-year employment already secured.
“By combining selective acquisitions with secured employment, we continue to strengthen the quality of our fleet, enhance earnings visibility and build a resilient portfolio of modern LPG tonnage,” Adenac wrote in a social media post.
The company said every investment it makes is guided by disciplined ownership and a strong commercial focus.
Earlier this year, the company bought a 2004-built LPG carrier fixed on a five-year employment. Furthermore, the shipping company chartered out its 1999-built Gas Zuma for a 3-year period.
