The Norwegian-headquartered offshore vessel provider DOF Group ASA (DOF) has announced an addendum to its long-term inspection contract (PIDF) with oil major Petrobras in Brazil.
The addendum, valued in excess of $50m, comprises additional scope of work which is expected to be concluded by the end of 2025, with the vessels Stril Explorer, Geoholm and Skandi Carla currently operating on this contract.
DOF has also announced one new long-term contract in Brazil following the same competitive tender process that resulted in the previously announced contract awards of the three vessels Skandi Achiever, Skandi Carla and Geoholm.
The Brazilian-flagged Skandi Salvador is now contracted on a 4-year term-charter with Petrobras, where she will operate with two work class ROVs and subsea crane.
The Skandi Salvador is expected to be delivered in December 2025, and the value of this new contract is approximately $165m.
