Italy-based shipyard Rosetti Marino has been awarded two new contracts from French shipbuilder Chantiers de l’ Atlantique and Italian engineering services company Saipem respectively.
The project awarded by Chantiers de l’ Atlantique concerns an EPC contract for the construction of the Electric Substation Jacket for the offshore wind farm of German electricity operator RWE’s Nordseecluster. The Jacket weighs approximately 2,000 tons.
The scope of work of the project awarded to Rosetti Marino includes construction engineering, material procurement, construction work and load out for delivery. Activities will begin shortly and are expected to be completed within summer of 2025.
The project awarded to Rosetti Marino in association with Saipem and MICOPERI Srl by Snam Rete Gas is related to the facilities for the Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) to be developed in the Adriatic Sea off the coast of Ravenna, Italy.
The scope of work of this project includes engineering, materials procurement, construction and load-out for delivery (EPC) of a new gas receiving platform (Jacket and Deck), mooring facilities for the FSRU and LNG carriers.
Activities will start immediately and are expected to be completed by November 2024.
