Norway-based Solstad Offshore ASA announced that two of its subsea vessels (CSV), Normand Baltic and Normand Samson, have secured new contracts.

Normand Baltic has been awarded a 180-day contract for providing “Walk to Work” services on Offshore Wind project in Asia. The contract will commence in October 2023.

Furthermore, Solstad’s CSV Normand Samson has been hired for a period of minimum 260 days to support a field development project in South America with commencement in the first quarter of 2024.

Commercial terms between the parties are in line with present market conditions for this type of vessels.

Solstad says it continues to see a high demand for CSVs from renewable energy, as well as from oil and gas clients.

It’s worth mentioning that Solstad has sealed a deal for the contract extension of CSV “Normand Superior” with Ocean Infinity AB.

The contract is firm until the first quarter of 2026, with two optional years thereafter.

Furthermore, in August the company has announced that Ocean Installer Limited has awarded Solstad a contract for a project in West Africa.

The project will be executed by the five large AHTS’s “Normand Drott”, “Normand Prosper”, “Normand Sapphire”, “Normand Sigma” and “Normand Sirius”.

The combined contract duration is minimum 380 vessel-days and will commence in the fourth quarter of 2023.
