The Stavanger-based offshore tonnage provider Simon Møkster Shipping AS (Møkster) reveals that it has chartered the PSV “Stril Mariner” to Spanish energy company Repsol.
The company states that the charter is running for 2years + options for standby and supply duties serving Repsol operations, including Norwegian Clean Seas Association for Operating Companies (NOFO) oil spill response at the Yme field located in the southeastern part of the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.
The “Stril Mariner” is a PSV built in 2009 and converted to an ERRV (Emergency Rescue Response Vessel), including Norwegian Clean Seas Association for Operating Companies (NOFO) 2009 capabilities.
Møkster mentions that the company is very pleased with this new contract, and confirms its strong position in the Emergency response market.
It is also “looking forward to co-operate with Repsol in the time to come.”
