The Norwegian-based offshore shipowner Solstad Offshore ASA (Solstad) has announced the fixing of a three-year contract with an international contractor for the construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Frontier.
The firm contract signed has an immediate startup and will keep the CSV Normand Frontier fully committed and employed until the end of 2027.
Solstad notes that the commercial terms are confidential, but in line with current market levels for this type of vessel. Furthermore, the vessel will support the client’s operations worldwide.
As part of the charter party deal, Solstad, together with Omega Subsea AS, will deliver two work class ROVs (WROVs) including manning, tooling, survey services, and project personnel.
The Normand Frontier is a construction support vessel, built in 2014, with Vard 3 03 design, owned by Solstad Maritime Holding AS, in which Solstad Offshore ASA holds 27,3%.
