The Norwegian offshore specialist Solstad Offshore has announced that two of its vessels were fixed for work in Australia.
First the CSV “Normand Australis,” has been fixed by a subsea contractor with commencement during fourth quarter 2023 for a minimum of 150-days firm employment with options to extend thereafter.
Secondly, the AHTS “Normand Sirius” Solstad Offshore has also been fixed by an international energy company for supporting a drilling campaign offshore Western Australia, with commencement during the second quarter 2024, for a minimum firm period of 160-days options to extend the contract by further 250 days beyond the firm contract period.
Both the AHTS “Normand Sirius” and “CSV Normand Australis” will be owned by Solstad Newco after the planned refinancing of Solstad, as per announcement to the Oslo Stock Exchange of 23rd October 2023.
