The Dutch owned MPP/Heavy-Lift vessel “Eemslift Ellen” (4200 Dwat built 2014) hit on Sunday the Hadsund bridge at the Danish Mariager Fjord, a video in social media shows.
The incident was recorded by the sailing boat “Freya Njord” while the MPP/Heavy-Lift vessel was passing through the narrow Hadsund bridge, as it can be shown in the video released.
The noise of the ship colliding with the bridge can also be clearly heard in the video.
After passing the bridge the “Eemslift Ellen” was steering towards the sailing boat “Freya Njord” but avoided a collision.
