Greece’s Former Crown Prince travelled by ferry from Bari to Patras

Pavlos, the son of the former King of Greece Constantine who died at the age of 82, travelled by ferry from Bari to Patras.

As he announced in an Instagram post, he travelled by Superfast 1 ferry from Italy and specifically from Bari to Patras.

Pavlos was on the bridge of the ship and took the necessary photos with the captain.

He did not fail to thank the ship’s crew and he sent his wishes for a happy new year.

“Thank you to the captain and the crew of the super fast 1 ship for the beautiful and safe journey from Bari to Patras. Wishing you all a happy new year and safe travels,” wrote Pavlos in Greek and English.

Pavlos, Prince of Denmark and former Crown Prince of Greece, is a member of the former royal family of Greece, the second child and first son of the last King of Greeks Constantine II and his wife Anne-Marie of Denmark, a Danish princess who was the Queen of Greece until the abolition of the Greek monarchy.

Anne-Marie is the sister of the Danish Queen Margrethe II who announced that she will abdicate the throne after 52 years on January 14, 2024. She left the throne to her son, Crown Prince Frederik.

Constantine II, who ruled Greece during a turbulent period in the country’s modern history that culminated in the abolition of the monarchy, died at the age of 82.
