Dutch Stainless Steel Chemical Tanker operator Chemship BV has announced via social media that on 5th June at 07:30h, the company has acquired another vessel from their long-term friend and partner, Tachibanaya.
The acquisition of the oil/chemical tanker MT “Chemical Contender” increases the number of vessels Chemship own, and same is aligning perfectly with their philosophy of maintaining a young and efficient fleet to achieve the highest standards of sustainability and safety.
The MT “Chemical Contender” is a 15,945 mt Dwt oil/chemical tanker built 2018 at Nippon Kaiji Kyokai shipyard in Japan, with 134m LOA and 21.6m beam carrying the Liberian flag.
