Greece-based and New York-listed Diana Shipping signed a Memorandum of Agreement to sell the 2006-built panamax vessel “Artemis” with delivery to the buyer latest by March 8, 2024.
Diana Shipping led-by the Palios family said that the sales price is $12.99m before commissions.
Diana Shipping Inc.’s fleet will, after this sale, consist of 39 dry bulk vessels.
Specifically, it will have in its fleet portfolio 4 newcastlemax, 9 capesize, 5 post-panamax, 6 kamsarmax, 6 panamax and 9 ultramax bulk carriers.
The combined carrying capacity of the owner’s fleet, including the ship Artemis, is approximately 4.5 million dwt, with a weighted average age of 10.59 years.
On Monday, the shipowner reported that sealed a time charter deal with ST Shipping and Transport for one of its panamax dry bulk vessels, “Maera.”
The vessel “Maera” is a 75,403 dwt panamax dry bulk vessel built in 2013.
The Greek owner said the charter is expected to commence on January 28, 2024.
