India based and Mumbai-listed Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited has contracted to sell its supramax dry bulk carrier Jag Rani to an unaffiliated third party.
The Mumbai-based shipowner said the ship Jag Rani of about 56,8200 dwt, built in 2011, will be delivered to the new buyer by the third quarter of the fiscal year 2025 with no price mentioned.
Including Jag Rani, Great Eastern Shipping’s current fleet stands at 43 vessels, comprising twenty-nine tankers (six crude carriers, nineteen product tankers, four LPG carrier) and fourteen dry bulk carriers (two capesize, eight kamsarmax, four supramax) aggregating 3.41 mn dwt.
The company has contracted to sell one MR product tanker in July 2024, which is due for delivery by the third quarter of the fiscal year 2025.
