Thailand-based Precious Shipping Public Company Limited (Precious), via a wholly owned Singapore subsidiary of the company named Precious Marigold Pte. Ltd., has acquired on June 11 the second-hand vessel, “Western Panama”.
The new purchased vessel will be delivered between July 1, 2024 and August 31, 2024, and the purchase price as per stock exchange filling is $18.6m.
The “Western Panama” is a 39,260 tons deadweight bulk carrier, 2015-built in China, which upon delivery will change her flag to Singapore.
After the acquisition and delivery of the vessel and the delivery of four vessels already ordered for construction but not yet delivered, the company’s fleet will consist of 42 vessels with an aggregate capacity of about 1,908,529-dwt.
