Singapore-based tanker company MOL Chemical Tankers, a subsidiary of Japanese Mitsui O.S.K., has announced that its newbuild “Bonita Ana” was successfully delivered from Shitanoe Shipbuilding in Japan on July 2.

The newbuild – IMO Type II & III – chemical tanker is 14,943 deadweight, having a length of 137.45 metres and a breadth of 22.50 metres, with 28 stainless steel tanks and 17,609 m³ tank capacity.

She is one of the chemical tankers ordered in 2022 by MOL Chemical Tankers, and she is equipped with a marine gas oil (MGO) mono-fuel engine.

As the top management explains, “this supports the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability through reduced emissions and improved fuel efficiency.”
