The Polish based and Szczecin located shipyard “Wulkan” has announced that it started a framework cooperation with the German shipbuilder Meyer Werft in the fields of shipbuilding and production of steel structures.

Meyer Werft, the cruise ship builder has placed orders in Szczecin for cruise ship blocks “Wulkan” states.

The “Wulkan” Shipyard mentions that it already has successfully delivered the first blocks being steel structures, equipment and anti-corrosion coating, which is the first step of the new long-term cooperation.

The shipyard finally informs that intensive modernization of the shipyard’s key assets has been undergoing, which will open up new possibilities for the construction, assembly and launching of steel structure blocks up to 4,500 tons.
