Italy’s d’Amico International Shipping, a family business operator in the product tanker market, gives the helm of the business to the Antonio Carlos Balestra di Mottola.
The board of directors, appointed on April 23 by the annual shareholders’ meeting, held its first meeting under the chairmanship of Paolo d’Amico and resolved the confirmation of the latter as chairman of the board and the assignment of the role of chief executive officer to Antonio Carlos Balestra di Mottola.
Antonio Carlos Balestra di Mottola was also given the responsibility for the internal control and risk management system with the attribution of the role of chief risk officer.
The Board also attributed the functions of Chief Financial Officer to Federico Rosen.
Federico Rosen joined d’Amico in 2003, developing a solid professional path within the organization by covering various roles over the years.
From 2009 to 2016, he held the position of financial controller of the company, whilst in 2016 he took on the responsibility of the planning and control department of the group headed by d’Amico Società di Navigazione S.p.A., maintaining the supervision of the planning and control activities of the listed sector (DIS).
