Swedish tanker owner Furetank Rederi AB has via its social media channel announced that it is strengthening its cooperation with Norwegian oil-and gas company Equinor through a long-term charter agreement.
The 2021 Chinese build “Fure Vinga”, being the first of 17 vessels in the so-called “Vinga series” with 17,999 Dwat, ice-class A1 and duel-fual engine (LNG/LBG), will now be trading in Northern Europe for Equinor on a 5-year charter contract, as the company states.
The Equinor biofuel trader Gaute Langstrand Isaksen, mentions in an interview at the Donsö Shipping Meet, that the vessel mainly will trade in North Europe between Iceland and also Gothenburg and Hamburg ports.
