DryDel Shipping, led by Costas Delaportas, shared a photo of its newly delivered Namura dry bulk ship Warrior received few days ago at Imari, in Japan.
The ceremony was graced by its president and chief of the company, Costas Delaportas, alongside esteemed members of the DryDel team.
“It was a day filled with pride and joy as we welcomed the first vessel from our order of four Namura vessels into our fleet,” the company highlighted in a short statement.
This latest addition marks a significant milestone as it is its first new building vessel from Namura Shipbuilding, part of the company’s order of four Namura vessels.
It was a special day for the shipowner who celebrated the delivery of its newly built bulk carrier.
The ship under the Liberia-flag has an overall capacity of 40.050 dwt.
The company, which expects to take delivery of more ships in the next two years, will have a total portfolio of nine newbuilding ships, with a capacity ranging between 40.038 to 63.300 dwt.
The Greek shipowner expects to take delivery newbuildings from Namura Shipbuilding, Tsuneishi Shipbuilding – Zhoushan, China and Oshima Shipyard.
