The Royal Caribbean newbuild cruise ship “Icon of the Seas” yesterday returned to the building shipyard Turku Shipyard from her first successful sea trials.
Now the shipyard informs that the work on Icon of the Seas continues, and the next major event on cruise ship’s road to delivery will be her second sea trials later this year.
The Royal Caribbean maiden voyage of Icon of the Seas is scheduled to be in January 2024, when she will start her first cruise from Miami for a week-long cruise in the Caribbean it was stated.
The “Icon of the Seas” includes many features that would guarantee an unforgettable vacation experience for her future guests, such as the largest waterpark at sea with six record-breaking waterslides, an all-new family focused neighbourhood, six pools and much more!
