The market today was a general active day in the entire dry bulk market. The capes had very good activity, the panamax remained with little better activity, the supramax and handysize both again with very marginal better activity.

The capesizes had much better activity and therefore the result was with very good increasing rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was again a little better and the market reacted with slight increasing rates in almost all areas and directions.

For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market once more had little better activity levels for both sizes. The supramax tonnage had little better activity and with very minor increasing rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was also with little better activity, and resulted in very marginal increasing rates in all areas and directions.

The European coaster market was today with unchanged activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with stable rates but still many prompt or spot open vessels. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with very minor increasing rates and the Mediterranean had again unchanged rate levels today.

The tanker market was today with a mixed level of activity. The crude oil tankers had slower activity resulting in slight falling rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was again with fine activity and it resulted in minor increasing rate levels from the various loading areas.
