IC Shipbrokers herewith welcomes you to today’s freight market report. We are giving you an insight in today’s freight market and an update with the latest freight market indications.

The market was today with a 50/50% split in the drybulk market activity. The capes had fine improving activity, the panamax with fair activity and the supramax and handysize both with little slower activity.

The capesizes had better activity and therefore the result was with minor increasing rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was little better again and the market reacted with minor increasing rates in almost all areas and directions.

For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had unchanged slower activity levels for both sizes. The supramax tonnage had slower activity with further minor falling rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was with little slower activity, and resulted again in very minor falling rates in all areas and directions.

The European coaster market was today with unchanged slow activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with unchanged but stable low rates. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with unchanged low rates and the Mediterranean had minor falling rate levels today.

The tanker market was today again with fine level of activity. The crude oil tankers had little better activity resulting in increasing rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was also with good activity and it resulted in good increasing rate levels from the various loading areas.
