Castor Maritime led-by Petros Panagiotidis has completed the sale of 2010-built Kamsarmax Magic Twilight at a juicy price of $17.5 million.
The company completed the sale of the ship on July 20 by delivering it to its new owner.
The Limassol-based diversified shipping company expects to record during the third quarter of 2023 a net gain on the sale of the Magic Twilight of approximately $4.0 million, excluding any transaction related costs.
The deal was closed on June 2, 2023 and the company didn’t disclose the name of the buyer.
The Nasdaq-listed company owns a fleet of 20 vessels, with an aggregate capacity of 1.6 million dwt, currently consisting of one capesize, six kamsarmax, eleven panamax dry bulk vessels, which include the Magic Moon that the company agreed to sell on March 23 and two 2,700 teu containership ships.
