Sea Baby naval drones repelling Russian helicopter attack: SBU

Details of a new special operation of Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) have revealed. A group of naval drones battled Russian helicopters, aircraft, and Raptor patrol boats attempting to intercept them.

The Security Service of Ukraine, the main internal security agency of the Ukrainian government, shared the announcement alongside exclusive footage of the operation.

The agency revealed that the latest Sea Baby naval drones, involved in the raid, trying to intercept them on December 6.

“Russian pilots considered themselves hunters and expected an easy hunt, but naval drones returned fire,” the agency said.

As it is reported from the Ukrainian side, intercepted Russian radio communication indicates that there were killed and injured on board the helicopters. The Russian helicopters have also suffered significant damage, now requiring major repairs.

The Russian Defence Ministry reported on the progress of the special military operation from November 30 to December 6. According to its report, naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet wiped out eight AFU uncrewed surface vehicles.
